Various projects from the last twenty years, illustrating the bespoke nature of the schemes I have been fortunate to work on.

While the traditional oak-frame with render infil panels is an enduring look that is attractive to so many people, more recently, the imperative has been to maximise insulation and air-tightness levels, to minimise energy use for heating.  As a result, the use of a highly-insulated ‘encapsulation’ of an internal oak-frame has been a successful way of continuing to utlise the character and beauty of the timber-frame, while ensuring the building has a low energy demand into the future.
