Winner of the ‘Best Traditional Home’ award in the Homebuilding and Renovating Magazine Awards in 2008.

This house mixes living rooms and bedrooms across both ground and first floor. In an edge of village location, from the upper floor level, views were possible towards the historic harbour (now a meadow).  It was therefore agreed that a sitting room that could take advantage of this outlook would be a fantastic feature, along with a balcony. Externally the house is clad in materials sympathetic to the historic buildings nearby – including flint and brick, and clay pantiles to the roof.
