A traditionally styled new house, built on a working farm in Cheshire, approved with an agricultural tie.
Mixing reclaimed materials with the exposed oak-frame provided by TJ Crump Oakwrights, the house already has a mellow and weathered appearance, and the use of local reclaimed stone for parts of the garden landscaping helps to root the building in its setting. Internally the accommodation continues the traditional feel with a grand entrance hall with vaulted ceilings and beautiful galleried landing and staircase, and a combined sitting room and dining room (including an impressive table around which the room was designed!). The kitchen has a more contemporary feel, being open through to a family lounge area, and a large island around which to gather!
